Any information on the XBox 360...

Does anyone out there know what the deal is with the limited supply of XBox 360s? I was under the impression that Microsoft was going to limit the supplies before Christmas to create a demand and then after Christmas they would be on the shelves everywhere. I was hoping to purchase a 360 in the next couple of weeks and every store (Walmart, Gamestop, Best Buy, Circuit City) seems to be out and unsure of when they will receive more. It seems like Microsoft rushed the release of the XBox 360. Have any of you guys seen them for sale lately?

On Gamestop.com and ebgames.com it says they are shipping bundled systems starting on Feb. 14th. They look pretty expensive though.

yea don't try ebay- the prices are ridiculous
and then some of them have crazy high shipping costs- i saw one that ended day before yesterday that the shipping was $130 for- that's insane

Yeah, wait until the new shipments from Microsoft come in.

I got mine from Ebay, but only because we needed it for Christmas. Had to pay I think $600 for one, when for retail it'd be anywhere from $300-400, depending on the choice.

And with the small selection of games, I can tell you right now that it is NOT worth paying that much money for.

You could definitely wait for it, and this is coming from a 360 owner.

I know this has probably been answered a million times, but when is the PS3 coming out? Also, any word on how much it will cost?

I thought the Madden game sucked.

You could not challenge, no endzone celebrations, and to my knowledge you could not send a guy in motion.

Plus they did not have all the classic teams/stadiums on there, no mini games, and the controls were not similar to the madden 06 of xbox. I think R1 was run.

I have Madden 06 (360 version) and you're right, it does suck.

The graphics look pretty sweet and the crowd looks quite stunning, but when it all comes down to the gameplay, it's just simply "not there".

The control feels loose, animations don't look right at all, collision problems are wacky (players running through one another), and the game is stripped of so many features, it gets boring before you can even begin having fun!

Taking out mini camp was bad enough, but when you don't even have such simple modes as Practice in there, I really start to wonder...

EA has really gone down the toilet these past few years, and with their exclusive NFL license deal taking away the NFL 2K series, we're going to be stuck with crappy football games year after year with minor updates here and there but diddly squat for the extra money we're having to pay.

$59.99 for a stripped down football game, with only good graphics in return? Screw that...
